If you are still on .net 1.1 there is a post SP1 hotfix

If you are still using .net 1.1 you might be interested in this post service pack 1 hotfix for System.Windows.Forms.dll released by Microsoft (thanks to Jochen Kalmbach for the info).
From the info page:

Hehe, is this a post SP1 or pre SP2 fix? 😉
Other than that – I’m reading Frans Bouma’s post on VS2005 hotfix (http://weblogs.asp.net/fbouma/archive/2005/12/11/432874.aspx). Now… I really wish somebody would take these hotfixes seriously and offer them to public from a central location, as Frans suggested. Why are certain fixes available to you only if you really really really need it? The only explanation I can think of is that new hotfixes might introduce new bugs and Microsoft wants to protect us from that. But I say: bring ’em on!
